Australia is going to host Pakistan to play a cricket series starting at the end of the year. Pakistan will start its tour with three Test matches followed by a series of five One Day International (ODI) matches. The series will begin with the first Test at Brisbane from December 15, 2016 and end with the fifth ODI on January 26, 2017 at Adelaide. Pakistan will also play its first ever day-night Test match in the series to be played at Gabba, Brisbane. The second Test of the series will be played at Melbourne Cricket Ground from 26 Dec to 30 Dec. Sydney Cricket Ground will host the third and final Test from January 3 to January 7, 2017. The first, second, third and fourth ODIs will be hosted at The Gabba Brisbane Cricket Ground, Melbourne Cricket Ground, Western Australia Cricket Association Ground and Sydney Cricket Ground respectively. Australia and Pakistan have played total 59 Test matches so far. Australia won the 28 Tests and lost 14 while 17 Tests ended without any result. A total 93 ODIs have been played between the two sides until now with Australia winning 58 and losing 31 while one match was tied. Three ODIs had no result.
